Magnetic Flow Control Technology (“MFC”). As the first infusion pump on the market to employ this principle, Q-Core’s infusion pumps provide unique benefits to the patient and medical staff. Q-Core’s MFC technology offers a key solution to the needs of an expanding hospital and homecare population.
Magic Straw™: Q-Core’s unique designed Magic Straw™ is a disposable module attached to the pump as part of the administration set. The Magic Straw has a built-in dual safety feature providing automatic anti-free flow protection and upstream/downstream occlusion protection. The Magic Straw is easy to install, and its unique design prevents incorrect installation of the tubing.
