InSightec developed the ExAblate® system which integrates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with focused ultrasound energy – as a new treatment modality that can replace invasive procedures and provide therapeutic alternatives to various applications. FDA approved to treat uterine fibroids and CE approved to treat bone metastases, the company is conducting intensive research in various fields of medicine aiming to shift the paradigm of surgical treatments, by providing a non-invasive alternative to invasive and minimally invasive surgical procedures. InSightec is conducting research for pain palliation of bone metastases, breast and cancer research. The major benefits are:
