In 2009, HDH Medical Ltd. is bringing to market an innovative product line of BYFix vascular anastomotic devices, with their specialized delivery instruments, providing suture-less anastomosis of large blood vessels for laparascopic and open surgery. This is a significant enhancement to the existing range of surgical treatment options for aortic and peripheral aneurysms, arterial occlusions and blood vessel traumas. Having passed one-year follow up of our Multi-center human clinical trials in Jan/2009, in which 15 patients were successfully treated, we have demonstrated the safety and efficacy of the ByFix devices for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA), Aorto-Iliac Aneurysms (AIA), Aortic Occlusions and above the knee arterial occlusions.
HDH Medical holds ISO 13483:2003, ISO 9001:2000 and CAN/CSA ISO 13485:2000 certification and its products are CE Marked for open and laparoscopic procedures.

BYFix mechanically connects any standard vascular graft to the patient’s blood vessel, allowing one-way movement to secure reliable and hermetic anastomosis. Suture-less and leak proof permanent anastomosis is performed in 5-6 minutes, even for major vessels, and in about 15 minutes or less laparoscopically. The device is easy to use and simplifies open and laparoscopic vascular procedures. Complete toolkits are manufactured and include surgical instruments for effective measurement of the blood vessel diameter, fast fixation of the vascular graft to the BYFix device and secure implantation of the device into the blood vessel.
ByFix technology enables for the first time, a cheaper, less complicated and more flexible, minimally invasive (fully laparoscopic) alternative which is applicable to a wider selection of patients, with significant medical and economic benefits over existing open and endovascular techniques.
