EasyGlide’s technology is focused on providing surgeons greater control by enhancing their ability to clearly see the procedural site. Improved visual acuity holds the potential for improved diagnoses, intervention and outcomes. The irrigation and suction technology is deliberately non-disruptive so practitioners can see what they need, without having to change procedural or operative technique. The platform holds tremendous potential to overcome visual barriers often encountered in minimally invasive surgery.
The ClearPath™ Irrigation and Evacuation System has been designed to maximize the control during a colonoscopy. The ClearPath device attaches to all major colonoscopes simply and connects to the ClearPath controller.
The ClearPath disposable, dual-action device features two main channels, one dedicated to irrigation, the other to evacuation. A combination suction/irrigation head is positioned at the distal end. And with ClearPath, the working channel in the colonoscope that would traditionally be used for irrigation and suction available for instrumentation.
The ClearPath controller provides irrigation with more than five time ordinary flow rates and suction with more than double ordinary tube cross-section .
