SMD Technology: All Aerotel Medical System’s devices are based on SMD technology. This technology has been chosen in order to reduce size and increase reliability. At Aerotel, quality is a primary concern. Consequently, printed circuit boards are automatically assembled by computer controlled machinery in order to reduce errors and increase yield.
Heartline: Aerotel’s Heartline ECG devices employ FM carrier transmissions modulated by the patient’s ECG signal. This signal is acoustically transmitted via telephone lines to an Aerotel receiving call center, where the signal is demodulated and the ECG is detected and displayed. The same devices also offer a Wireless transmission option to either a cellular phone or Aerotel’s propriety medical modem.
